Amelanchier laevis Snowflakes - Growing to just 4 x 4 metres in 20 years, it is popular for its large white, star shaped flowers, which stand-out against the red-bronze new foliage in spring. This snowy tree will grow in most soils and conditions, including damp soil and polluted areas. The slender, oval foliage turns to mid-green in summer before rich orange/red in the autumn.
