Brassica oleracea var. gemmifera Red Bull - Brussels Sprouts Vegetable – chou de Bruxelles  - A British improved selection of 'Rubine'. Plant produces high yields of dark red brussels sprouts. The attractive red buttons will be retaining their colour nicely when steamed, with a mild and nutty flavour.  The heads average 1 to 1 ½" in diameter. The firm, medium sized sprouts are well spaced are well spaced for easy picking from late November onwards. These 3' plants are eye-catching additions to the late-season garden. It keeps it dark red color well when cooked, steamed or microwaved. The color improves with colder weather. The plants are ornamental enough for flower borders.Height: 75cm (30"). Spread: 50cm (20").   Family: Brassicaceae
