Citrullus Lambkin (Watermelon)
Citrullus lanatus Lambkin - An unmistakable melon with mottled, yellow and green skin and crystalline green flesh. Ripening earlier than many melons, healthy plants produce 4-5 melons each, sized just right at 2-4 pounds. Vines bear round, 3- to 4-pound, red-fleshed, seedless fruit with thin, dark-green rind. With thin rind and minimal seed cavity there is a maximum of sweet, juicy, lusciously flavored flesh. An AAS winner! Famille : Rutaceae.
