Photo of Hebe Silver Dollar (Shrubby Veronica)
Hebe Silver Dollar - A low-growing, compact, evergreen shrub boasting gorgeous variegated foliage which is grey-green with cream margins. In winter, these cream margins transform to magenta pink, which is particularly noticeable on new buds which look as though they are bursting with colour. This pink tint lasts all the way to early spring, bringing a splash of colour to the garden or patio when there is very little. In summer, sprinklings of delicate mauve flowers appear, which fade to white. This constantly transforming shrub grows to about 60cm (24in) over four years, making it extremely manageable and low maintenance. Family : Scrophulariaceae
